IMPORTANT UPDATE!  Due to the incredible response of our volunteers, registration is now closed for BOTH weekends.  A HUGE thank you to all who have registered to participate- we can’t wait to see you there!  Please check back in September for registration for our Fall Katy ServeFest workday held on October 16, 2010.

Big things are happening at Compassion Katy!  Katy ServeFest 2010 is just around the corner on February 27 and March 6, 2010 and you don’t want to miss your chance to sign up to volunteer at one of the two locations, Katy YMCA’s Camp Cinco or the Pregnancy Help Center of West Houston.  There are several projects planned from painting, to cleaning and organizing, to construction type projects at both sites.

We are also thrilled to be a part of the Hands On Network’s 2010 Volunteer program with the Walt Disney Company.  Volunteers can join the “Give a Day, Get a Disney Day” program and get a free ticket to any US Disney theme park in 2010.  More details on the Give a Day, Get a Disney Day program can be found at www.DisneyParks.com.  Search for opportunities in Katy, TX to find Compassion Katy and sign up.
