At A Glance

Katy ServeFest began with a dream 10 years ago on the heals of the devastating impact of hurricane Katrina in the summer of 2005: What would happen if churches, businesses, non-profits and volunteers united to mobilize Christians to serve as the functioning Body of Christ in our community to serve the poor, the marginalized, and those in need.

Compassion Katy is on an intentional mission “Igniting The Passion For Serving Our Community For Christ” and bringing the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ to every man, woman and child in the Greater Katy Area, and beyond!

We need you – People with a heart to serve our community in the name of Jesus Christ!
Our mission is simple: We are on mission for “Igniting the Passion for Serving our Community for Christ!”

We are actively seeking people to help with coordinating volunteers, and people who are skilled in general construction, plumbing, electrical, and painting.

Katy ServeFest is a one or two weekend work event.  We do projects that include painting, basic construction, landscaping, plumbing, electrical, general clean up, and more.  There is something for people of all skill levels (Novice, Intermediate, Expert).

Spring Katy ServeFest takes place in early spring each year.

Fall Katy ServeFest is the last Saturday in September each year.
