Hundreds of the Katy Community will enjoy a free Thanksgiving feast thanks to the generosity of others. The 1st Annual “Need to Feed” Thanksgiving Feast will be held at First United Methodist Church located at 5601 5th St., Katy, TX 77493.
Between 300 and 500 guests are expected to attend the feast. The feast will include turkey, dressing and all the trimmings. Thanksgiving dinner will be served on Tuesday, November 24th from 6:30pm until 8:30pm at First United Methodist Church in Katy.
Need to Feed was originally set up for the homeless, less fortunate and those that have been affected by the drop in the economy; however as a result of many people not having family in town or a place to go on Thanksgiving, everyone is welcome, according to organizers. Santa will also arrive to take pictures with children at the Thanksgiving feast.
Be A Part of NEED TO FEED – Volunteer or Donate
Volunteers are needed to set up, cook, serve, greet, and clean up. Volunteers can work a one or two hour shift or stay for the entire event. Donations of drinks and deserts are needed. . Monetary Donations are welcome!
