Pregnancy Help Center of West Houston is celebrating 20 years of affirming life in our community. We would like you to join us on Saturday September 12, 2009 as we celebrate LIFE with a “Strides for Life” 5K Run/Walk and 1K Kids/Family Fun Run. The Strides for Life is an annual fund-raising event that allows us to continuing operating and providing services to our community at no charge.
You can help by participating as runner, walker, creating a team, or being part of our dream team (aka running in your sleep!). You also can “go the extra mile!” by asking 10 of your friends to sponsor you for $10 or more. For every 10 people you have to pledge, you will have an opportunity to put your name in for our grand prize drawing of a 37” flat screen HDTV.
The Strides for Life Celebration will take place at the Katy Heritage Park located off Ave D. in old town Katy. We will have an post-race celebration featuring live music, family activities, a Katy Community mural project, and much more!
