We know that many of you are waiting for the county to come pick up the storm debris. They have informed us that they will be coming around our area and some places here in Cinco are starting to get debris picked up. There are trucks out with wood chippers along some of the boulevards and main streets. This however is a long process.

We have had several requests from residents for a place to take their own storm debris to get it off of their lawns. Ms. Sinclair has located a landfill to take storm debris and vegetation. Below you will find the information. This would be great for several neighbors to get together and deposit your debris. Please note that they can not accept household trash.

The Greenhouse Road Landfill located at 3510 Greenhouse Rd. will take storm debris, grass clippings, limbs and construction materials.

They DO NOT accept: paint, batteries, tires, household garbage, chemicals or refrigerators/freezers.
