We want to start out by saying thank you to our many volunteers.  With out all of your hard work and commitment, we could not do any of what we do.  All our Superhero volunteers are such a blessing and help us as we perform Good Deeds to promote Good Will to help spread the Good News of Jesus.

This year we had 3 different ServeFest events.  We helped meet needs at the YMCA, Krause Children’s Center and Katy Christian Ministries.
450 volunteers
over 3,000 volunteer hours
$57,000 in materials and volunteer labor.
Total given in materials and labor to date is over $160,000.

Compassion Katy announces their 5th year of Katy ServeFest volunteer projects benefiting local non- profits.  The non-profits chosen this year are the Pregnancy Help Center and the YMCA Camp Cinco.  This year Compassion Katy is also a proud partner with Walt Disney in their Give a Day. Get a Day. promotion.  Each volunteer that signs up for and works a day at  Katy ServeFest and registers online with the Walt Disney Company will get a ticket good for one day admission to any Walt Disney Park.  The next Katy ServeFest dates are February 27th and March 6 2010.   For additional information go to www.katyservefest.org .
